Through the efforts of a dedicated Hospital Foundation, WMH owns state-of-the-art surgical equipment, equal to or surpassing other operating rooms. We are constantly reveiwing our equipment and adding new items.

The OR crew at WMH is comprised of a variety of professionals with many years of experience in the operating room!

You will be cared for by our Registered Nurses who are nationally certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and are members of the Association of Peri-Operative Registered Nurses. They attend conferences regularly to learn the latest techniques/patient safety issues in the operating room.

Surgeons at WMH are assisted by CRNFA Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Scrub Technicians who attend conferences on topics such as Orthopedic Fracture Fixation and Patient Safety.

Anesthesia services are provided by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.

WMH employs a certified Central Service Technician to clean, process, and sterilize instrumentation following national standards.
