Our state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging Department employs three highly trained Radiologic Technologists, and one part-time Ultrasound Technologist. We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and films can be available within 24 hours. Extra copies can be made available by calling 549-4435. We are on-call for emergencies 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Tests available by Doctor's orders are:

• Diagnostic x-rays

• CT scans: Scanning any part of the body - muscle, organs, vascular system and bones, providing an in-depth and accurate diagnosis. The scanner makes 8 images per 1/2 second - more images and faster than ever before.

• Ultrasound: Uses high-pitched sound waves to produce real-time pictures for OB, abdomen, pelvic, carotid studies, and doppler venous studies. Ultrasounds are scheduled on Wednesday.

• Bone Density scans: Quick and accurate measurement for osteoporosis determination.

• C-arm: takes real-time images during surgery to facilitate bone fracture repair.

• Mobile MRI service: Takes detailed internal pictures without invasive techniques or x-ray radiation.
