MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNIT FLOAT POOL
If you are looking to supplement your income, please consider joining our Registered Nurse Float Pool. We have both AM and PM shifts available on our Medical/Surgical Floor with shifts also available for RNs with OB and ER experience.
Successful applicants will hold current RN licensure in the State of Idaho, have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Hospital setting, and be available to cover at least 1 shift each month. Salary D.O.E.

Medical Technologist (PRN)

Qualified candidates must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of hospital laboratory work and a preference for scientific and technical activities; must be able to keep abreast of the latest innovations in laboratory methods and technology of testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree and certification by a nationally recognized board, such as; MT (ASCP),(NCA).
•Current registry as a Medical Technologist in one of the National Registry Boards of the
•Experience with various hospital laboratory machinery, phlebotomy, microscopes, centrifuges, and auto-analyzers. •Experience with log books, laboratory reporting methods and preferably EKG equipment.

NURSE MANAGER - MED/SURG UNIT

If you are/have:
· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree or enrollment in a program within 6 month.
· Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
· Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of medical surgical nursing and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
· Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification. Will achieve within 1 year of hire.
· Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations.
The Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager is responsible for direction of patient care in the medical surgical setting. Manages staff members in the Medical Surgical Unit. Consults with staff, physicians and Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in QPI activities. Responsibilities include maintaining current department policies, procedures, and standards of care, developing and maintaining staffing schedules, and assisting the CNO with goal planning budgeting. Collaborates closely with the managers and charge nurses of other departments and medical staff. Functions with limited supervision from the CNO. This position is designed for a working manager who will fill in as staff member when needed.
